On June 5th Mastercard and NFT Ventures hosted a meetup following the events at Money 20/20 in Amsterdam. Fintech companies, banks, and regulators gathered at the beautiful TQ coworking space to discuss trends in Nordic and Baltic Fintech.
The agenda was jam packed; Mats Taraldsson (Mastercard), Johan Lundberg (NFT Ventures) and Jay Jensen (NFT Ventures) kicked it off by introducing the Lighthouse Development Program. Susanne Hannestad CEO of Fintech Mundi then shared the results of the 2018 Nordic Fintech Disruptor’s report, that showed continued optimism for the region as market leaders in Fintech. Christoffer Andvig CEO of Bankbridge explained how they are utilizing API’s to become the gateway to the future of financial services: And lastly Stig Johannsson from Swedish Finansinspektionen discussed the ongoing evolution the role of regulators must go through as financial companies continue to innovate. Following the great content guests networked over cold beers and Dutch borrel bites on TQ’s sunny terrace—not too bad for a Tuesday!
